How is this different from an SEO retainer?

A traditional SEO retainer does one thing, SEO. A partnership lets us put our attention wherever it will move your business furthest that month. Some months that is content and search. Others it is conversions, user experience, technical health, or the pages that are quietly losing you work. You get the judgement as well as the hours.

Do I need to be hosted with you?

No. The partnership works alongside any platform or host. That said, not all setups are equal, and what we can achieve may be constrained by the tools your site was built with. Some things will take longer, and a few may not be possible at all. We will tell you what we are working with early, and part of what you are paying for is guidance on the tools and processes that will serve you best long term.

What does it cost?

Each level is quoted +gst after a conversation, because the right level depends on your website, your market and what you are trying to achieve. We would rather look properly and recommend the level that actually fits than sell you a package off a page. Tell us where things are at and we will come back with a straight answer.

Can I change levels or stop?

Yes, at the start of any monthly cycle. Move up, move down, drop to the light touch level, or stop altogether. There is no lock-in and no penalty for adjusting as your needs change.

Who writes the content?

We do. Content is written your voice and in the language your customers use, working from what we learn about your business and your market. You review everything before it goes live, and if you would rather write some of it yourself we will brief and edit instead.

How quickly will I see results?

Honestly, it depends on where you are starting and how competitive your market is. Technical and user experience improvements can show up in weeks. Search visibility usually takes months, because that is how search works, and anyone telling you otherwise is guessing. What you will see from the first month is real output and a clear account of what it was for.

Do you manage Google Ads too?

Yes, on the higher levels. Running paid alongside organic makes sense while rankings build, because it brings traffic in from day one and tells us quickly which messages and pages actually convert. That insight then feeds straight back into the organic work.
